This Cookie Policy explains how Novra, LLC ("Novra," "we," "us") uses cookies and similar technologies (including browser local storage) on the Novra website and platform (the "Service"). It supplements Section 2.4 of our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We also use browser local storage for the same purposes described below; this Policy refers to both together.

2. Cookies We Use

2.1 Essential

Session and authentication cookies (Better Auth) and Stripe Checkout cookies necessary for the Service to function — keeping you signed in, securing your session, and processing payments. The Service cannot operate without these, so they are always active.

2.2 Functionality

Preferences such as your theme (light/dark mode) and your cookie-consent choice.

2.3 Error Monitoring

Sentry, to detect and diagnose technical errors in the Service.

2.4 Performance

Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights, which measure page performance and aggregate usage. These are cookieless.

2.5 Analytics

PostHog, our product analytics tool, is strictly consent-gated — no analytics cookie loads or captures any data before you accept the cookie banner. Analytics are first-party proxied, track manual pageviews plus four named product events (signup, BOV generated, document uploaded, checkout started), and are identified by user ID only, with no session recording and no autocapture.

2.6 Marketing

We do not use marketing or advertising cookies.

3. Managing Your Preferences

You can accept or decline analytics through our cookie consent banner; declining does not affect your use of the Service. Most browsers also let you view, delete, or block cookies through their settings, though blocking essential cookies will prevent parts of the Service (such as signing in) from working.

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date.
